Ingredients: 1 tsp flour

12 ounces chicken breast (cut into 1 inch slices)
2 tsp butter

1 celery stalk

1 med. carrot
1 onion (cut into wedges)

1 cup chicken broth

1/8 tsp pepper
10 ounce can cream of chicken soup

1 cup frozen peas
1 cup biscuit mix

1/3 cup milk


Combine 1 cup biscuit mix with 1/3 cup milk and mix well. (set aside)

Place flour and chicken in plastic bag and shake to coat chicken.


Cook chicken in a large sauce pan with fresh vegetable and butter for 2-3 minutes or until chicken is brown.


Stir in broth and cream soup, add pepper. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer covered for 20 minutes or until chicken and vegetables are tender.


Add frozen peas and drop dumplings on top of chicken. Simmer covered over low heat for 10 -15 minutes or until dumplings are done (check with toothpick)
