Technical difficulties...

I know I told some people that I would have the ...yeah, whatever... album uploaded to my music section this weekend, but it ain't gonna happen, sorry.  I got everything tweaked, written, converted, and ready to post, when I noticed a problem.  The tracks I pulled off the cassette, which I had already spent a week re-mastering and were actually sounding pretty decent, weren't pitched correctly.  Either the speed on the deck was off, or, more likely, it was just that the tape is old.  I only realized it when I was A/Bing some of the tracks that also appear on Digital Dvorak.  One option is to take the re-mastered tracks and adjust the pitch and speed digitally.  But to do it properly, I really need to go back to the cassette, adjust the speed on the deck, and transfer it again.  Start from scratch, in essence.  And I think I'm going to do that.  So it will be at least next weekend before ...yeah, whatever... is posted, but I promise it's coming.

Ron's music!

One of the main things I wanted to do with this site was to provide a place where folks could come and check out my music.  It's not complete, and won't be for a while yet, but there is more than enough over at my music page to make it worth a visit, I think.  Three whole albums worth of material, including a few things none of you have ever heard before... hopefully you'll find something worth listening to, possibly even enjoying!

The Site of the Mosi needs your help...

Hey folks, if you have any experience with web development, maybe you could help me out with something.  I would like to find an alternative to the framesets I'm currently using in the site design.  I want to have consistent headers and left menus (without having to update every page when they change), but the frames make it impossible to link directly to any specific page.  (If you're a web developer I don't have to tell you why frames suck.)  I really don't want to rely on Front Page Extensions, but if you know some other means of pulling this off, drop me a line.  I could really use the advice.  Thanks!
